Description
Woodward 8576-233
Technical Specifications:
- Control Method: Electronic control, hydraulic execution.
- Oil Source: Self-contained independent oil source.
- Control Accuracy: < 0.1%.
Functional Features:
- Isochronous Control: Achieves 0% speed droop with electronic controllers to ensure grid frequency stability.
- High Driving Force: Easily overcomes high pressure differentials and friction in large steam valves.
- Full Compatibility: Seamlessly interfaces with Woodward 505, MicroNet, and 5009 controllers.
Application Scenarios:
Local grid turbine generators, industrial drive steam turbines, back-pressure, or extraction steam turbines.
Performance Parameters:
- Max Output Angle: 40°.
- Oil Supply Pressure: Stable high-pressure oil provided by internal gear pump.
Material Composition:
High-strength steel housing with precision-machined hydraulic servo valve components.
Structural Features:
Integrates motor, gear pump, reservoir, servo valve, and actuating cylinder. Features electrical interfaces and mechanical output flanges on the exterior.
Working Principle:
The electronic controller issues commands. The servo valve proportionally regulates oil flow and direction into the cylinder, pushing the piston to create angular displacement. The LVDT simultaneously feeds back the actual position to the controller to form a closed loop.
Installation Requirements:
Foundation must be flat and rigid. Output linkages must incorporate spherical bearings to absorb installation errors.
Usage Precautions:
Bleed the system thoroughly before initial operation. Regularly monitor motor and pump noise and temperature. Keep electrical interfaces clean and dry.
