Working Principle
The 9907-166 communicates with the 505 controller via Modbus serial protocol. It sends operator commands (key presses) to the controller and receives real-time data for display. The panel acts as a human-machine interface (HMI) that translates operator intent into digital commands and presents controller data in human-readable format.
Installation Requirements
- Panel Cutout: Cut panel opening to specified dimensions for flush mounting.
- Wiring: Connect RS-232/RS-422 communication cable and +24 Vdc power supply.
- Grounding: Ensure proper panel grounding for EMI protection.
- Clearance: Maintain adequate clearance behind panel for ventilation.
Usage Precautions
- Environmental Protection: Do not expose to direct sunlight or excessive moisture.
- Cleaning: Use only mild detergent and soft cloth for cleaning; avoid solvents.
- Keypad Care: Do not use sharp objects on the membrane keypad.
- Firmware Compatibility: Verify firmware version compatibility with connected 505 controller.
