Working Principle
The unit continuously monitors the generator and bus voltages. It calculates the slip frequency and phase angle difference, outputting precise bias signals to the speed controller and Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) to align the generator before issuing a close command to the circuit breaker.
Installation Requirements
A circuit breaker must be provided near the unit, easily accessible to the operator, and clearly labeled as the isolating switch for the device.

Strictly observe electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions during handling. Users must read and follow Woodward manual 82715 regarding the handling and protection of electronic controls and printed circuit boards to prevent component damage.
