  • Surge protection for signal input terminals

Application Scenarios:

  • Marine main switchboard and auxiliary switchboard
  • Offshore platform power monitoring panels
  • Ship generator control panels
  • Marine emergency power distribution cabinets

Material Composition:

  • Front Bezel: Self-extinguishing UL94 V0 plastic
  • Meter Housing: High strength impact resistant plastic
  • Internal Mechanism: Moving coil, permanent magnet and precision spring
  • Scale Plate: Anti-corrosion coated metal plate
  • Terminals: Tin-plated copper alloy screw terminals

Structural Features:

  • Square panel mounting structure with standard DIN 43700 cutout
  • Transparent scratch-resistant front protective cover
  • Rear terminal block for signal input and backlight power supply
  • Internal shock absorbing rubber pads for vibration suppression

Working Principle: Input voltage or current signal passes through built-in transducer and converts to proportional DC signal. The DC signal flows through moving coil inside magnetic field. The electromagnetic torque drives pointer rotation against spring torque. Pointer position reflects measured value on scale plate. LED backlight illuminates scale plate for low-light viewing.

Installation Requirements:

  • Install on front panel of marine switchboard
  • Tighten mounting clips evenly to avoid housing deformation
  • Route signal cable away from high power cables
  • Keep meter away from strong magnetic field sources
  • Seal front panel gasket properly to achieve IP54 protection

Usage Notes:

  • Calibrate meter reading via rear potentiometer after installation
  • Do not apply signal exceeding rated input range
  • Prevent salt spray and moisture ingress inside housing
  • Inspect front cover for scratches and sealing condition periodically
  • Disconnect input signal before removing meter from panel
