Functional Features Ultra-small housing, designed for tight burner assembly mounting spaces. Integral high-temperature resistance leads, withstands ambient heat near furnace burners. Fast response ≤0.2 seconds, quickly triggers flameout protection. Compatible with all Honeywell inline flame control modules, plug-and-play connection. Low power consumption, draws less than 2 VA in operation. Shutter-style window design, reduces oil fume deposition on the sensor.
Application Scenarios Flame detection for residential forced-air furnaces Small commercial water heater flame monitoring Pilot flame detection for small gas burners Spare part replacement for mini flame detector faults in existing installations

- Ambient light rejection: 3,000 lux visible light without false trigger
- Insulation resistance: ≥20 MΩ
- Lead length: 1 meter standard high-temperature wire
- Mounting thread: M14 x 1 mm
Material Composition Nickel-plated brass miniature housing Ultraviolet photosensitive detection tube Quartz glass detection window High-temperature silicone insulated leads Rubber strain relief boot
Structural Features Ultra-short cylindrical brass housing. Front quartz glass detection window. Rear two high-temperature leads exit the housing directly. Compact mounting thread fits standard burner sight ports.
Working Principle Ultraviolet radiation from the pilot flame passes through the quartz window to strike the internal UV photosensitive tube. The tube conducts on UV exposure, sending a flame present signal through the leads to the flame control module. When the flame extinguishes, UV radiation stops, the tube cuts off, and the control module triggers flameout shutdown after the safety time interval.
Installation Requirements Screw the detector into the burner pilot sight port, tighten to seal. Route leads away from ignition high-voltage cables, maintain ≥10 cm separation. Connect leads to flame control terminals per wiring diagram, no polarity required. After power-up, confirm pilot flame detection signal appears within 0.2 seconds.
Usage Notes Never run leads parallel to ignition cables, ignition electromagnetic interference causes false flame signals. Oil fume condensation on the quartz window blocks UV transmission; clean the window quarterly. Do not cut the detector leads shorter than 50 cm, excessive line loss reduces detection sensitivity. Operation above 60 °C damages the internal photosensitive tube.
