Working Principle CC-MCAR02 connects to the C300 controller through the rack backplane bus. The controller reads application configuration, firmware and historical log data from the flash media card mounted on this adapter. When configuration modifications are downloaded from engineering station, data is written onto the media card via the adapter circuit. The adapter continuously monitors media card communication integrity and sends fault signals to the controller when read or write errors are detected.
Installation Requirements Plug the CC-MCAR02 module into the dedicated media adapter slot of controller rack Insert the compatible Honeywell media card after rack power stabilizes Keep ventilation space around the module Cabinet protective earth connection must be secured with grounding resistance ≤4Ω
Usage Notes This adapter only supports single media card without redundant backup Process interruption occurs if the media card fails Do not pull out the media card when the access LED is lit Complete offline configuration backup before media card replacement This adapter shall not be used for safety-critical interlock controllers requiring redundant storage
