Working Principle FSC redundant safety controller sends trip or reset command to FC-TRO-0824 through rack backplane bus. The module drives relay coil according to safety logic command, and the relay contact changes state to cut off or energize field safety loads. The on-board diagnostic circuit monitors coil current and contact feedback signal continuously. When relay coil fails or contact feedback is abnormal, the module generates safety fault alarm in FSC system.
Installation Requirements Insert the module into designated FSC safety rack slot and lock side latches. Separate safety relay load wiring and ordinary control cables. Tighten field load terminal screws to specified torque. Complete safety loop proof test after wiring and configuration. Ensure safety cabinet single-point grounding.
Usage Notes Do not exceed relay contact rated voltage and current. Execute regular proof test for safety relay channels according to SIL safety maintenance requirement. Wear anti-static wrist strap during module replacement. Verify trip action of field safety equipment after module maintenance.
