Description
HONEYWELL 51403393-100
Technical Specifications Matched impedance for LCN coaxial cable; Built-in signal monitoring circuit; Coaxial connector interface; Rack mounting structure; Support LCN network signal quality detection.
Functional Features Provide accurate impedance termination at two endpoints of LCN backbone; Eliminate signal reflection and waveform distortion on coaxial transmission line; Monitor network signal strength continuously; Report LCN cable break and signal attenuation fault; Protect network from high voltage surge interference.
Application Scenarios TDC3000 LCN backbone network two terminal nodes; Long distance coaxial network of large chemical and refinery control room; LCN network signal quality monitoring points.
Performance Parameters Operating temperature 0℃ to 60℃; Humidity 5% to 95%, non-condensing; Stable impedance characteristic under long time operation; Surge suppression capability.
Material Composition FR-4 printed circuit board; High precision power resistors; Surge suppression components; Coaxial metal connectors; Flame retardant plastic housing.
Structural Features Small rack mount module; Front panel with network signal status LED indicator; Coaxial signal input port; Rack fixing buckle; Model marking printed on housing.
Working Principle The module connects at the physical end of LCN coaxial trunk. The built-in precision resistor matches the characteristic impedance of coaxial cable. It absorbs reflected signal at cable end to avoid waveform distortion which causes frame loss. Signal monitoring circuit continuously samples network signal amplitude and judges cable break or excessive attenuation, then triggers fault alarm.
Installation Requirements Install only at two physical endpoints of LCN backbone; Fasten coaxial connector tightly; Connect module protective ground wire; Keep coaxial cable away from power cable; Verify impedance matching after installation.
Precautions for Use Do not install extra termination module at non-terminal position; Do not access high voltage signal to coaxial port; Inspect coaxial connector for aging regularly; Replace module when network signal attenuation alarm occurs.
