Working Principle The Pt100 or thermocouple sensor signal enters input terminals; measurement circuitry converts sensor signal to temperature and drives the display mechanism. Comparison circuitry compares actual temperature to setpoint; exceeding limits triggers alarm relays. In control mode, output circuitry emits 4 to 20 mA proportional to deviation to control external valve or heater, maintaining temperature at setpoint.
Installation Requirements
- Panel cutout flush-mount on console
- Install gasket completely for IP55
- Connect sensor compensating wires per drawing
- Route control output to control valve
- Marine power supply
- Temperature -10 °C to +55 °C
- Calibrate temperature range after power-up
- Mount away from vibration and heat radiation
Precautions
- Sensor compensating wire polarity must be correct
- Do not short control output
- Periodically calibrate temperature accuracy
- Replace cracked front glass promptly
- Store spares in dry moisture-proof packaging
- Disconnect sensor and supply before service
