NK Technologies AG1-SDT1-24U-DEN-A55
Technical Specifications Zero-sequence current measurement principle; rated power supply 24V DC; analog output signal 4-20mA proportional to ground fault current; built-in current sensing aperture for cable pass-through; operating temperature -20°C to +60°C; insulation voltage rating for low-voltage power circuits; output load resistance up to 600Ω; DIN rail mounting form factor.
Functional Features Senses vector sum of current in three-phase conductors and neutral conductor to calculate residual ground fault leakage current. Converts measured leakage current value into 4-20mA analog signal for remote monitoring systems. Supports adjustable trip threshold configuration for ground fault alarm. Provides proportional analog output for continuous trending of insulation degradation. Detects gradual insulation deterioration and sudden earth fault events in motors, heaters and power distribution circuits.
Application Scenarios Three-phase motor ground fault monitoring, low-voltage distribution panel leakage monitoring, submersible pump insulation supervision, industrial heater earth leakage protection, data center power circuit residual current trending.
Performance Parameters High sensitivity for low-level leakage current detection; linear analog output across the rated measurement range; high immunity to balanced load current and motor starting inrush; stable measurement in environments with variable frequency drive noise.
Material Composition Transducer housing is flame-retardant UL-rated thermoplastic resin; internal current sensing core uses high-permeability magnetic alloy; signal conditioning PCB uses FR-4 flame-retardant substrate; analog conversion chips are industrial semiconductors; terminal block contacts are nickel-plated copper alloy.
Structural Characteristics Compact rectangular DIN rail mount housing. Central hollow aperture allows three-phase power cables and neutral cable to pass through without cutting conductors. Screw terminal blocks on the side accept 24V DC power supply and 4-20mA analog output wiring. Mounting clips integrate for standard EN 50022 DIN rail installation.
Working Principle All phase conductors and neutral wire pass through the magnetic sensing aperture of the transducer. Under normal balanced operation, the vector sum of magnetic flux cancels out. When ground leakage current exists, net magnetic flux appears in the core. The sensing circuit converts the induced magnetic signal into an electrical value, and the conditioning circuit scales the value into a 4-20mA analog output proportional to ground fault magnitude. The output signal transmits to the controller for alarm and protection action.
Installation Requirements Clip the transducer onto standard DIN rail inside the low-voltage electrical cabinet. Route all three-phase power conductors and neutral conductor through the central sensing aperture. Connect 24V DC power and 4-20mA signal wiring to the designated screw terminals. Configure measurement range and alarm threshold in the host PLC or DCS system. Test leakage response with a simulated ground fault signal after installation.
Precautions for Use Do not pass protective earth ground conductor through the sensing aperture. Use shielded twisted-pair cable for the 4-20mA analog output loop. Confirm the measured circuit voltage falls within the transducer rated insulation class. Avoid mounting close to large magnetic contactors and high-current busbars.
