Guide rails assist smooth insertion and positioning of plug-in modules.
Application Scenarios Used in power plants, petrochemical refineries and gas compression stations. Holds machinery protection modules for steam turbines, centrifugal compressors and large rotating fans.
Performance Parameters
- High mechanical rigidity to resist cabinet vibration
- Stable electromagnetic shielding performance
- Long service life under industrial environment
- Smooth module insertion along internal guide rails
Material Composition Main frame uses cold rolled steel plate with anti-corrosion powder coating. Internal module guide rails adopt high strength aluminum alloy. Grounding bus bar is made of tinned copper bar. Fasteners use stainless steel to resist rust.
Structural Characteristics 19-inch standard rack frame. Rear mounting space for backplane. Front guide rails for plug-in modules. Built-in copper grounding bus bar. Side ventilation slots for heat dissipation. Mounting ears on both sides for fixing into control cabinet.
Working Principle The rack chassis provides fixed mechanical position for backplane and all electronic modules. Metal frame connects to protective grounding bus bar to build shielding layer for internal circuit cards. Ventilation slots form air convection channel to discharge heat generated by electronic modules during operation. Guide rails ensure accurate alignment during module insertion. The chassis does not process electrical signals.
Installation Requirements Fix the rack chassis into industrial control cabinet with matching mounting screws. Connect chassis grounding terminal to cabinet protective grounding bus bar firmly. Keep ventilation slots unblocked and free of obstructions. Install backplane and modules after completing chassis fixed installation.
Use Precautions Avoid heavy impact and deformation of metal frame during transportation and installation. Do not block ventilation slots with cables or other components. Check grounding connection regularly. Prevent corrosive gas and conductive dust from accumulating inside chassis.
