Description
Honeywell 51305088-100
Technical Specifications Channel Count: 32 digital input channels Supported Signal Type: Dry contact, 24V DC active signal Input Threshold: High level ≥18V DC, Low level ≤6V DC Logic Power Supply: 5V DC Field Loop Power: 24V DC Power Consumption: 6.3W Operating Temperature Range: 0℃ to 60℃ Storage Temperature Range: -40℃ to 85℃ Isolation Withstand Voltage: 1500V AC per channel group Relative Humidity: 5% to 95%, non-condensing
Functional Features Each channel supports independent configurable hardware debounce time. It executes field loop open circuit detection and fuse blown alarm when paired with matched FTA. It carries out signal level judgment and contact status latching. It supports hot swap operation within powered UCN I/O rack. It stores channel debounce time and supervision configuration parameters in non-volatile memory. It uploads real-time channel status and wiring fault information to DCS diagnostic system. It supports common return grouping configuration for field marshalling wiring.
Application Scenarios Valve limit switch and position feedback signal acquisition for safety interlock systems. Switch status collection for pressure, flow and level switches. Running and fault feedback signal acquisition for pumps, fans and rotating machinery. Replacement and spare stocking for aging high-density digital input processor cards in legacy TPS UCN racks.
Performance Parameters Signal Sampling Interval: 0.4ms per channel Debounce Adjustable Range: 0.05ms to 20ms Status Transmission Delay: ≤0.8ms Fault Detection Resolution: 0.1mA
Material Composition PCB Substrate: High-TG flame-retardant FR-4 multi-layer glass fiber board Digital input logic FPGA chip Signal buffer and level comparison chips Group isolation optocoupler array Gold-plated back edge fingers Gold-plated ribbon cable connector contacts Cold-rolled steel front panel with electrostatic spray coating
Structural Features Standard European pluggable card structure, installed in dedicated digital input slot of UCN I/O rack. Front panel is equipped with run indicator light, fault indicator light and group status indicator lights. Ribbon cable connector is arranged on the side panel for connection to matched digital FTA termination assemblies. Digital signal traces adopt differential layout to reduce external electromagnetic interference. Each group of 8 channels is equipped with independent isolation zone to prevent fault cross transmission.
Working Principle Field contact signals are transmitted from FTA termination assembly to this processor card via ribbon cable. The optocoupler isolation circuit separates field 24V loop and internal 5V logic circuit. The signal shaping circuit filters bounce noise according to configured debounce time. The FPGA chip judges signal level and latches contact on/off status. It packages status data and fault information into standard UCN I/O frame and transmits data to rack IOP processor through backplane bus. When fuse blown or open circuit fault is reported from FTA, the card marks corresponding channel fault and uploads alarm to DCS system.
Installation Requirements Insert the card vertically into the dedicated digital input slot of UCN rack and tighten fixing screws. Use factory specified ribbon cable to connect this card with matched digital FTA termination assembly. Confirm ribbon cable pin definition and wiring direction before power supply switch-on. Download channel debounce and supervision configuration parameters from Control Builder software. Verify status acquisition and fault alarm function on the HPM diagnostic screen.
Precautions Release static electricity before plugging the card to protect logic and isolation chips. This card must be used together with matched digital FTA termination assembly, it cannot collect field signals independently. Do not connect AC voltage signals to the matched FTA input terminals. Loose ribbon cable connection causes intermittent signal loss and status jumping. Debounce time setting needs to match mechanical contact bounce characteristic of field switches.
