Emerson ER22010-T

Product Introduction: The ER22010-T is a redundant power supply module designed for Emerson industrial control rack. It converts AC input power into stable 24 VDC output power for controller, I/O modules and communication modules inside rack. It supports redundant parallel operation of two power modules. When one module fails, the other module bears full load without power interruption. It integrates over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection.

Description

Emerson ER22010-T

Technical Specifications: Input voltage: 100 VAC to 240 VAC wide range AC input Output voltage: 24 VDC Rated output power: 240 W Output current: 10 A Redundancy mode: active parallel redundant operation Operating temperature: 0 ℃ to 60 ℃ Storage temperature: -40 ℃ to 85 ℃ Relative humidity: 5% to 95% non-condensing Protection class: IP20

Functional Features: Active current sharing for redundant parallel operation. Automatic fault isolation when single power module fails. LED indicators for input power, output power and fault status. Built-in hardware protection of over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature. Remote fault alarm relay contact output. Supports hot-swap replacement during rack running. Low ripple output ensures stable power supply for control modules.

Application Scenarios: Redundant power supply for DCS and motion control rack, power backup for thermal power auxiliary control cabinet, petrochemical control cabinet redundant power, water treatment control system power supply, pulp and paper mill automation cabinet power system.

Performance Parameters: Output voltage ripple: less than 120 mV peak to peak Efficiency: greater than 92% under rated load Vibration resistance: 10 Hz to 150 Hz, 0.5 g Shock resistance: 10 g peak acceleration, 11 ms duration MTBF value: 235000 hours

Material Composition: Module shell: metal shell with anti-corrosion coating. Internal PCB: FR-4 glass fiber epoxy printed board. Power transformer uses silicon steel core. Input and output terminal blocks use nickel-plated brass. DIN rail mounting clip is stainless steel.

Structural Features: DIN rail mounting structure. Front panel equipped with AC input terminals, DC output terminals and LED indicators. Internal metal heat sink for power device heat dissipation. Air inlet and outlet on shell for forced air cooling. Built-in alarm relay terminal block for fault signal output.

Working Principle: AC input power passes EMI filter and rectifier circuit inside module, then converts into DC power. DC-DC circuit stabilizes voltage and outputs 24 VDC power. Two redundant modules run in parallel and share load current equally. When one module fails, internal circuit automatically cuts off the faulty module, and the remaining module supplies full load current. Protection circuit cuts off output immediately when overvoltage or short circuit occurs.

Installation Requirements: Mount module on standard 35 mm DIN rail inside control cabinet. Reserve sufficient ventilation space around module. Use suitable wire gauge for AC input and DC output wiring. Tighten terminal screws with required torque. Cut off AC input power before wiring work.

Precautions for Use: Do not exceed rated output current. Wear anti-static wristband when opening module shell. Keep air inlet and outlet free of dust. Do not install in high humidity environment with condensation. Replace module immediately if output voltage is unstable or fault alarm keeps active.
