Functional Features Screw terminals simplify wiring of redundant power and synchronization cables and support convenient disassembly during equipment maintenance. Built-in surge suppression components absorb transient voltage pulse from external long communication cables. Internal PCB traces transmit power and redundancy synchronization signals upward to dual controller modules. Precise positioning structure ensures stable electrical contact between terminal base and redundant controller modules. Modular structure allows independent replacement of terminal base without removing the upper controller modules.
Application Scenarios DeltaV DCS redundant main control cabinets deployed in chemical plants, oil & gas facilities, pharmaceutical factories and thermal power plants. It works with redundant DeltaV controller pairs to complete external wiring termination for redundant power and redundancy synchronization communication.
Performance Parameters Internal signal traces maintain low attenuation for power and synchronization signal transmission. Surge protection components suppress transient voltage spike from external cables effectively. Screw terminals keep stable electrical connection under long-term cabinet vibration. Contact pins maintain reliable connection after repeated plugging of controller modules.
Material Composition Main body substrate adopts flame-retardant PA engineering plastic. Nickel-plated copper alloy screw terminals. Multi-layer glass fiber epoxy PCB substrate. Solid-state surge suppression components. Anti-oxidation plated metal positioning contact pins.
Structural Features DIN rail fixed base structure. Front side equipped with multiple screw terminals for redundant power and synchronization cables. Top metal contact pins mate with DeltaV redundant controller module bottom connector. Positioning buckle locks terminal base and aligns with plug-in controller modules. Integrated wiring channel guides external cables neatly inside control cabinet.
Working Principle Redundant power and synchronization communication signals transmit upward through top metal contact pins to controller modules. Signals pass through surge suppression circuit and reach screw wiring terminals for external cables. When transient surge voltage appears on external cables, surge suppression components absorb voltage pulse to protect redundant controller circuit. Screw terminals transmit power and synchronization signals to redundant controller pair through external cables.
Installation Requirements Mount terminal base on standard DIN rail inside control cabinet and fasten mounting buckle. Connect external power and communication cables and tighten each terminal screw. Adopt single-point grounding for cable shield wire inside cabinet. Check full contact between top pins and redundant controller modules after module insertion. Keep redundant communication wiring separated from high-voltage power wiring.
Precautions for Use Cut off external power before wiring adjustment. Inspect terminal tightness regularly. Do not apply overvoltage to signal and power terminals. Keep contact pins clean without metal scraps and dust. Do not alter internal circuit of terminal base.
