Description
Honeywell 80360206-001
Technical Specifications
- Input voltage range: 85–264 VAC universal AC input
- Rated current: 10 A
- Filter frequency range: 10 kHz to 30 MHz
- Surge tolerance: 6 kV common-mode surge
- Protection element: Resettable fuse, metal oxide varistor
- Operating temperature: 0 °C to +60 °C
- Mounting: Screw-fixed in the cabinet power compartment
Functional Features Two-stage EMI filtering, suppresses high-frequency common-mode and differential-mode noise on power lines. Metal oxide varistor absorbs surge spikes from lightning and switching operations. Resettable fuse provides input short-circuit protection, automatically recovers after fault removal. On-board AC input LED indicates live incoming power. Dedicated grounding terminal collects filter circuit ground points for low-impedance connection to cabinet protective ground. Large-gauge wiring terminals accommodate heavy incoming power cables.
Application Scenarios AC input filtering for TDC3000 control cabinets Repair of power-induced board resets and spurious alarms in legacy DCS systems Surge protection upgrade for cabinet power circuits Noise abatement for power lines running near high-voltage switchgear

Material Composition FR4 flame retardant PCB substrate Common-mode filter inductor X/Y grade safety capacitors Zinc oxide metal oxide varistor Resettable fuse Tin-plated copper screw terminals Shielded metal mounting enclosure
Structural Features Long rectangular shielded metal board. Front face houses AC input and output high-current terminals. Dedicated side grounding terminal. Filter circuit enclosed in metal shield to block internal noise radiation. Silk-screen labeling marks L, N, PE wiring points.
Working Principle AC input power first passes through the metal oxide varistor to divert surge spikes, then moves through a two-stage EMI filter network to remove high-frequency common-mode and differential-mode noise. Cleaned AC power is output to in-cabinet power supplies. The resettable fuse continuously monitors input current, automatically cuts power during short circuit or overload, and resumes operation after fault removal. The metal shield contains internal filter noise to prevent it from radiating back out to the power line.
Installation Requirements Fully de-energize power before installation, strictly follow L, N, PE marking to avoid reversed line/neutral connection. Connect the grounding terminal reliably to cabinet protective ground. Ground the metal enclosure to protective ground to prevent live enclosure hazard. Use cable gauge matched to 10 A current rating for input wiring. Maintain ventilation around the board, keep it separated from heat-generating components.
Usage Notes Never bypass the on-board fuse, this removes overcurrent protection and creates fire risk. Replace aged metal oxide varistors after lightning events; varistor breakdown causes direct short between line and ground. Always de-energize before servicing AC terminals to avoid electric shock. Poor ground connection reduces filter performance; verify ground resistance ≤0.1 Ω during commissioning.
