Honeywell 51304584-300

Product Introduction This analog output module is the upgraded revision of the 51304584 series. It follows the same mechanical outline and backplane interface as revision 200. Revision 300 optimizes temperature drift compensation and long-term stability of the output circuit. It receives digital control commands from the HPM controller and converts signals into 4-20mA analog output to drive field regulating devices. It is compatible with the same UCN rack and can directly replace revision 200 units for system upgrade.

Description

Honeywell 51304584-300

Technical Specifications Channel Quantity: 8 channels, grouped isolation with 4 channels per group Output Signal: 4-20mA DAC Resolution: 16-bit Power Supply: 24V DC Power Consumption: 7.1W Operating Temperature Range: 0℃ to 65℃ Storage Temperature Range: -40℃ to 85℃ Isolation Withstand Voltage: 1500V AC Relative Humidity: 5% to 95%, non-condensing

Functional Features Grouped electrical isolation eliminates ground loop interference. Each channel supports independent fail-safe configuration including hold, zero and full scale. It provides continuous loop diagnosis for open circuit, short circuit and overload. It adopts enhanced temperature drift compensation circuit to reduce output deviation under wide temperature variation. It supports hot swap. All configuration parameters can be downloaded remotely through Control Builder. It has built-in hardware current limiting protection.

Application Scenarios PID regulating output for critical control loops in chemical and refining plants. Control signal output for regulating valves and I/P converters in high-temperature cabinet rooms. Direct replacement and upgrade of 51304584-200 modules without wiring modification. Analog output point expansion for UCN I/O racks in power and natural gas facilities.

Performance Parameters Output Accuracy: ±0.10% Full Scale Settling Time: ≤75ms Common Mode Rejection Ratio: ≥105dB Output Ripple: ≤10μA

Material Composition PCB Substrate: High-TG FR-4 multi-layer glass fiber board with enhanced low-temperature stability High-precision 16-bit DAC chips Grouped photoelectric isolation components Low-temperature drift operational amplifiers Gold-plated wiring terminals Cold-rolled steel front panel with electrostatic spray coating

Structural Features Standard European pluggable card, mechanically interchangeable with revision 200. Front panel equipped with run indicator, fault indicator and group status indicators. Detachable terminal block with clear channel marking and polarity identification. Gold-plated edge fingers connect to the UCN rack backplane bus. Analog signal area adopts reinforced shielding layout.

Working Principle The module receives digital setpoint commands from the HPM controller via UCN bus. The MCU assigns digital values to target DAC channels. DAC chips convert digital quantities into stable 4-20mA current signals for field regulating loops. The circuit continuously samples actual loop current, detects abnormal conditions and uploads fault status to the controller. The upgraded compensation circuit suppresses output drift caused by internal temperature change.

Installation Requirements Insert the module vertically into the UCN rack slot and tighten fixing screws. Use shielded twisted pair cables for output wiring. Shield grounding only at cabinet side. Separate output cables from high-power cables and inverter cables. Download configuration after installation and verify channel output consistency on site. Load resistance of each loop must stay within the rated range.

Precautions This module can replace 51304584-200 directly without hardware modification. High voltage input on terminals will permanently damage isolation and conversion circuits. It does not support HART communication superposition. Check terminal block condition regularly in corrosive environments to avoid oxidation.
