Working Principle:
The analyzer operates on the NDIR principle, where specific gas molecules absorb infrared light at distinct wavelengths (typically 2.5-8 μm). An infrared source emits light that is split into a measurement beam (passing through the sample gas) and a reference beam (passing through non-absorbing N2). The attenuation of the measurement beam compared to the reference beam is measured by specialized detectors, and this differential signal is mathematically converted into the precise concentration of the target gas.

Installation Requirements:

  • Gas Path Optimization: The sampling line and pretreatment system must be kept as short as possible to minimize response delay.
  • Ventilation: Ensure sufficient air circulation around the analyzer to prevent heat buildup and the accumulation of hazardous gases. Maintain a one-rack distance between multiple units.
  • Environmental Limits: Install in areas protected from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, strong air convection, dust accumulation, and excessive vibration (max acceleration 0.01 m/s² at 0.1-200 Hz).
  • Grounding: The equipment must be properly grounded before any other wiring is connected to ensure personnel and equipment safety.

Usage Precautions:

  • Qualified Personnel: Installation, startup, operation, and maintenance must only be performed by qualified and trained personnel.
  • Electrical Safety: Always disconnect all power sources before opening the enclosure. Internal charging capacitors retain dangerous voltages and require 10 minutes to fully discharge after power-off.
  • Non-Explosive: Standard AO2020 units are non-explosion-proof and must not be installed in explosive gas environments.
  • Fuse Protection: Always use fuses with the exact specified breaking current; never short-circuit or bypass the fuse mechanism.
