ABB DO801

Product Brief: The DO801 is an S800 I/O digital output module providing sixteen 24 V DC sourcing (PNP) transistor outputs grouped in two isolated groups of eight. Each channel is current-limited and protected against short-circuit and over-temperature. It drives 24 V DC final control elements such as solenoid valves, indicator lights, and small contactor coils in process automation systems.

    • Certifications: CE, UL/cUL, ATEX Zone 2, cULus, marine (ABS, BV, DNV, LR)
  • Functional Features / Application / Structure / Working Principle / Precautions: Essentially same as DO810 below but with 16 outputs (vs DO810 also 16 — DO801 is earlier-generation, same electrical spec, slightly different key code on some MTUs). Refer to DO810 detail for operational notes. Key difference: DO801 older generation; DO810 adds OSP (Output Set to Predetermined state on error/comm loss) as standard — check project requirement.
