Product Brief:​ The IMDSO14 is a 16-channel digital output module for the INFI 90 / Harmony DCS. Each channel is a high-side MOSFET sourcing 24 V DC to the field load (solenoid valve, indicator lamp, contactor coil, interposing relay). Outputs are grouped in two groups of 8 with separate process voltage (UP) sense terminals. The module provides short-circuit protection, open-load detection (on some FW revs), and configurable safe-state on C.W. communication loss or module fault (Off / Last State / On). It mounts in IEMMU21 rack.

  • Material & Structure / Working Principle / Installation / Precautions:​ Same INFI 90 module form factor — plugs into IEMMU21; wire load between output terminal (O0…O15) and 0 V return; connect UP (+24 V) and ZP (0 V) to termination assembly (TA568 or equivalent).
    • Precautions:
      • Do NOT exceed 0.5 A/channel or group thermal limit — use DO815 (2 A/ch) equivalent or interposing relay for larger 24 V DC loads
      • For inductive AC loads (contact coil via interposing relay) fit flyback diode across DC coil or RC snubber across AC contacts
      • Verify sourcing (PNP) wiring — load completes circuit to 0 V; NPN sensors are not directly compatible
      • Set OSP per process safety requirement — typically “Off on error” for ESD-related outputs
