Product Brief:​ The IMFEC12 is a high-resolution digital input module for INFI 90 / Harmony systems that captures the exact time of state changes (rising/falling edge) on each channel with 1 ms (or sub-ms on some revisions) resolution and stores Sequence of Events (SOE) records. It is used for post-incident analysis of trips, breaker operations, and alarm cascades. The module supports various voltage grades (24/48/110/125/220 V DC; some versions 230 V AC) selected by ordering code / jumper.

    • In configuration assign module type = IMFEC12, set voltage grade, debounce time, SOE enable
    • Ensure controller time synchronization (NTP / IRIG-B) is active — SOE timestamps are meaningless if controller clock drifts
    • Precaution:​ Use same voltage grade throughout the module — mixing 24 V and 110 V on one FEC module is NOT possible; select correct grade module for each application
    • For N.C. contacts (e.g., E-Stop N.C.), the “normal” state is ON — SOE records the falling edge (contact opening = alarm/trip)
    • Verify contact wetting — some versions require external wetting voltage for very low-energy dry contacts (gold-flashed contacts recommended for <10 mA)
