Technical Specifications
- Model Number: 3300/16-11-01-03-00-00-01
- System Components: Probe + Extension Cable + Proximitor
- Measurement Type: Non-contact eddy current
Key Features
- Factory Matched & Calibrated: All components are precisely matched at the factory, eliminating field calibration errors.
- High Anti-RFI Immunity: Designed to operate reliably in environments with severe radio frequency interference.
- Dynamic & Static Measurement: Capable of measuring both high-frequency vibration and static shaft position.
Application Scenarios
Widely used in large rotating machinery with oil-film bearings for measuring shaft relative vibration, axial displacement, eccentricity, and differential expansion.
Performance Parameters
- Sensitivity: Typically 7.87 mV/μm (200 mV/mil) or 4 mV/μm (100 mV/mil)
- Linear Range: Designed for optimal linearity within the specified measurement range.
Material Composition
Features a robust 316L stainless steel probe body, high-temperature PTFE/PEEK insulation, and a ruggedized Proximitor housing.
Structural Characteristics
Threaded probe for secure mounting, flexible armored extension cable for mechanical protection, and a DIN-rail or panel-mountable Proximitor.
Working Principle
The Proximitor generates a high-frequency magnetic field via the probe coil. As the conductive shaft rotates, eddy currents are induced on its surface. Changes in the shaft-to-probe gap alter the coil’s impedance, which the Proximitor converts into a proportional DC voltage.
Installation Requirements
Ensure the probe is mounted perpendicular to the shaft surface. Set the initial gap voltage to the midpoint of the linear range (typically -9V to -11V) using a digital voltmeter.
Usage Precautions
Never install or remove the probe while the system is energized. Avoid sharp bends in the extension cable to prevent internal conductor damage.
