Structural Characteristics: Armored coaxial cable with a triaxial structure. The stainless steel braided armor layer provides mechanical protection, while the ClickLoc connectors ensure reliable connections. The armored structure gives the cable excellent resistance to mechanical damage. The 5.0-meter length is suitable for 9-meter system configurations (when paired with a 4-meter probe) or for specific 5-meter system configurations.
Working Principle: Same as the standard extension cable. The armored structure does not affect electrical performance; it only provides additional mechanical protection for the signal transmission conductors. The probe high-frequency signal is transmitted through the triaxial coaxial structure to the Proximitor for signal processing.
Installation Requirements:
- Ensure the total length of the probe cable plus the extension cable strictly equals 5.0 meters or 9.0 meters
- Cable routing must maintain at least 30cm clearance from high-voltage power cables
- Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4mm
- ClickLoc connectors are hand-tightened; do not use tools
- The shielding layer must be grounded at a single point on the Proximitor end
- The armored cable is heavier and less flexible; plan the routing path in advance
- Hazardous area installations must comply with applicable explosion-proof regulations
Usage Notes:
- The “01” code indicates armored construction, suitable for environments with mechanical damage risk
- The “05” code indicates multi-agency certification; verify that the specific certifications meet site requirements before installation
- Inspect the condition of the armor layer at each maintenance interval
- Do not substitute standard cables in areas where armored cables are specified
- After installation in high-vibration areas, verify connector tightness
- Pay attention to the minimum bend radius when bending the armored cable
