Honeywell 51401577-600

Product Introduction This high density analog input module is a high-channel-count analog acquisition card for Honeywell TDC3000 UCN I/O rack. Revision 600 expands channel capacity and optimizes multi-channel scan scheduling. It supports 32-channel 4-20mA analog signal acquisition from field transmitters. It converts analog current signals into digital engineering values, carries out channel filtering and linear scaling, and transmits sampling data to rack IOP processor. It reduces rack space occupation for large-scale analog monitoring points and suits dense measurement loops in chemical and refining plants.

Material Composition PCB Substrate: High-TG flame-retardant FR-4 multi-layer glass fiber board, grouped analog and digital zoning layout Multi-channel high-speed ADC conversion chip Programmable filter circuit components Group isolation optocoupler array Gold-plated back edge fingers Gold-plated field terminal block contacts Cold-rolled steel front panel with electrostatic spray coating

Structural Features Standard European pluggable card structure, installed in dedicated high-density analog I/O slot of UCN I/O rack. Front panel is equipped with run indicator light, group fault indicator lights and general fault indicator light. Field wiring terminals are arranged on the side panel, grouped by 8 channels for isolation grouping. Analog signal traces adopt shielding layout to reduce cross-channel crosstalk. Isolation barriers are placed between each 8-channel group.

Working Principle 4-20mA current signals from field transmitters pass through group isolation circuits and flow into precision sampling resistors. The sampling resistors convert current signals into voltage signals. The multi-channel ADC chip sequentially converts voltage signals into digital values under FPGA scheduling. The FPGA executes scaling calculation and filter processing, converts raw digital data into standard engineering values. It sends process data and channel fault information to the rack IOP processor through backplane bus. It records open-circuit, short-circuit and over-range fault events with time stamp.

Installation Requirements Insert the module vertically into the dedicated high-density analog I/O slot of UCN rack and tighten front panel fixing screws. Connect field transmitter shielded twisted pair cables to the corresponding terminal ports following group marking. Ground the shielding layer at the module side only. Download channel scaling, filter and unit parameters from Control Builder software after power on. Verify process value reading accuracy and group fault alarm on the HPM diagnostic screen.

Precautions Release static electricity before plugging the module to protect high-precision analog conversion circuit. Do not apply voltage signals exceeding 24V DC to input channels. Separate analog signal cables from high-power AC cables during wiring. Fault in one isolation group will not affect other groups of channels. This module cannot directly accept thermocouple or RTD resistance signals.
