Functional Features The M16 x 1.5 thread is supplied with a 24 mm lock nut and 14 mm wrench flats. The probe features complete interchangeability within the 3300 XL 11 mm system. The patented TipLoc molding ensures robust tip retention. The ClickLoc connector prevents loosening under vibration. Working Principle The probe operates using eddy current proximity sensing. An RF signal from the Proximitor Sensor creates an electromagnetic field at the 11 mm probe tip. Eddy currents induced in the conductive target surface cause a measurable impedance change. The Proximitor Sensor converts this impedance variation into a DC voltage that is directly proportional to the physical gap between the probe tip and the target surface.
