- Relay contacts brought out through front panel terminals
- Modular design supporting field replacement
Working Principle: The module receives alarm status and measurement data from monitoring modules through the rack backplane. Internal logic circuits evaluate input signals based on user-programmed AND/OR logic conditions. When alarm conditions are satisfied, the corresponding low current relay is energized. The low current design provides extended contact life when switching small current loads, making it particularly suitable for interfacing with solid-state electronic devices and PLC inputs.
Installation Requirements:
- Install in any slot to the right of the Transient Data Interface module
- Relay output wiring connects through front panel terminals
- Ensure load current does not exceed module rating
- Maintain appropriate spacing from high-voltage power cables
- Ensure proper rack grounding
Use Precautions:
- Contact ratings are lower than standard relay modules and must not be used for high current loads
- Install protection devices when driving inductive loads
- Inspect relay contact condition regularly
- In hazardous areas, confirm explosion protection certification meets site requirements
- Configuration software version must match module firmware version
