Working Principle:
The 3500/42-07-00 receives analog signals from proximity probes and seismic sensors via the I/O module. It performs differential signal processing to extract casing vibration from relative shaft vibration, calculates absolute shaft vibration, compares the measured values against user-programmable alarm setpoints (Alert and Danger), and drives alarm outputs when setpoints are exceeded. The module also returns 4–20 mA analog outputs proportional to the measured values.
Installation Requirements:

- Install the corresponding I/O module in the rear slot
- Configure channel types, measurement functions, alarm setpoints, and filter parameters via 3500 Rack Configuration Software
