Working Principle:
The 3500/45-02-00 receives analog signals from position sensors (proximity probes, RPT, DC LVDT, AC LVDT, or rotary potentiometers) via the external I/O module. It conditions the input signals, performs the programmed position measurement function, compares the measured values against user-programmable alarm setpoints (Alert and Danger), and drives alarm outputs when setpoints are exceeded.
