Working Principle: The module receives pulse signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickup sensors. Internal circuits shape, count, and process the signals to calculate precise rotational speed values. The module simultaneously monitors rotor acceleration and direction changes. When rotational speed exceeds user-set alarm values, the module generates alarm signals. The module can also provide Keyphasor signals, offering phase reference for other vibration monitoring modules.
Installation Requirements:
- Install in designated slot of 3500 rack
- Speed sensors must be properly installed to ensure stable reliable signals
- Gap between sensor and gear or key slot must be adjusted according to specifications
- Ensure sensor cable shields are properly grounded
- Maintain appropriate spacing from high-voltage power cables
Use Precautions:
- This module is not designed for use as an overspeed protection system component
- Analog proportional outputs are for data collection, chart recording, or display only
