Working Principle: Analog composite video signal enters via BNC port and converts into 10-bit digital data by video encoder. Serial PTZ control data and dry contact status are multiplexed together with video data stream. The combined digital signal modulates laser diode and transmits as light signal through multimode fiber. The module continuously monitors input signal status and displays operating state via front panel LEDs. All signals travel through fiber without electrical conductive path between transmitter and receiver sides.
Installation Requirements:
- Install unit near analog CCTV camera inside protected enclosure
- Connect camera video output to BNC input using 75 ohm coaxial cable
- Use ST multimode fiber patch cord to connect to FVR110M receiver
- Wire dry contact input and serial data to screw terminal blocks
- Supply 12–24 VDC power and connect protective earth
- Adjust DIP switches to match serial communication protocol
- Maintain fiber bending radius above minimum requirement
Usage Notes:
- Pair FVT110M only with matching FVR110M receiver
- Keep fiber connector end face clean and free of scratches
- Do not bend optical fiber below minimum bending radius
- Disconnect power before modifying DIP switch settings
- Prevent overvoltage surge on video and data input terminals
- Check LED status to diagnose fiber link and signal faults during commissioning
