Working Principle: The controller samples voltage signals from generator and busbar voltage transformers continuously. Internal circuit calculates voltage difference, frequency difference and phase angle difference between generator and bus. It sends pulse signals to engine governor and AVR to adjust generator speed and voltage. When all synchronization parameters fall within preset window, the controller sends closing command to generator circuit breaker. After breaker closure, the module adjusts governor reference to distribute active load evenly among paralleled generators. Protection logic triggers alarm when voltage or frequency exceeds threshold.
Installation Requirements:
- Mount controller on standard DIN rail inside generator control cabinet
- Strictly follow voltage transformer polarity during VT wiring
- Separate VT measurement cables from high power wiring
- Use shielded cable for Modbus communication if required
- Connect protective earth terminal reliably
- Keep away from engine ignition coils and large contactors
Usage Notes:
- Set rated voltage, frequency and breaker closing advance time before commissioning
- Test synchronization function with simulation tool before connecting to live bus
- Verify CT and VT ratio matches controller configuration
- Disconnect all voltage inputs before opening enclosure for maintenance
- Check terminal screw tightness periodically under vibration environment
- Adjust synchronizing window to avoid out-of-phase breaker closure
