Working Principle Temperature and pressure sensor signals enter universal analog input channels. Digital input channels read contact status of safety switches and interlock devices. The onboard microcontroller executes user programmed control logic, calculates setpoint deviation and generates output commands. Relay and SSR outputs switch loads such as compressors and fans. Analog outputs send modulating signals to expansion valves and variable speed drives. The controller stores operating data and alarm events in internal memory, and exchanges real-time data with building management system via Ethernet or RS485 bus.
Installation Requirements
- Mount IPG315D on standard 35 mm DIN rail inside control cabinet.
- Install matched TF20D power module for 24V AC/DC power supply.
- Use shielded twisted pair cable for analog sensor wiring.
- Separate sensor signal cables from high current compressor wiring.
- Complete protective earth connection of cabinet.
- Download application program and configure sensor types and setpoints.
- Test defrost logic, interlock and alarm function after installation.
Usage Notes
- Do not exceed rated contact current of relay outputs.
- Protect controller from direct water splash and high condensation environment.
- Backup application program before firmware upgrade.
- Disconnect power before modifying field wiring.
- Use anti-static wristband when handling spare controller.
- Replace unit immediately when permanent I/O or communication hardware fault occurs.
