Material Composition Aluminum alloy shell with passive heat dissipation structure and anti-corrosion surface treatment. Industrial flame-retardant PCB substrate. Power switching semiconductors, high-temperature capacitors and precision voltage regulation chips. Thick copper plated terminals. Structural plastic parts meet high-temperature flame-retardant industrial standards.
Structural Characteristics Vertical plug-in rack structure compatible with DeltaV cabinet backplane. Compact layout saves cabinet installation space. AC input and DC output terminal block on upper section. Passive heat sink and air duct realize fanless heat dissipation. Front panel with LED indicators and locking buckle. Power circuit and monitoring circuit are physically separated to reduce electromagnetic crosstalk.
Working Principle External AC power enters rectifier circuit and converts to raw DC power. Multi-stage EMI filtering and voltage regulation produce stable DC output supplied to cabinet backplane. In redundant parallel setup, two power modules share load evenly. If one module fails or overheats, the remaining working module instantly undertakes full rack load without power interruption. Onboard monitoring chips continuously sample output voltage, operating current and internal temperature. Protection circuit triggers and sends fault alarm when parameters cross threshold values.
Installation Requirements Install vertically in dedicated DeltaV cabinet. Tilted, horizontal or inverted mounting is forbidden. Reserve sufficient upper and lower ventilation clearance. Cables and modules cannot block cooling air passages. Power wiring follows industrial electrical specifications. Protective earth wire must be securely connected to cabinet grounding bus bar. Lock module buckle after insertion. Do not install in environment with heavy vibration, corrosive gas, conductive dust or condensation.
Use Precautions Disconnect corresponding AC power before wiring, disassembly or maintenance work. Do not operate beyond rated voltage and current limits. Periodically remove dust accumulated on shell and heat dissipation air ducts. Do not open sealed module shell. Replace faulty module immediately when fault LED lights up to maintain redundant reliability. Avoid frequent power cycling.
