Working Principle Field 4-20mA transmitters connect to screw terminals of terminal base. Surge protection components shunt surge energy to ground when overvoltage appears on field cables. Test jacks directly access signal loop for on-site current measurement.
Installation Requirements Align terminal base connector with front connector of analog input module and fasten buckle. Strip wire insulation to specified length and tighten terminal screws with standard torque. Use shielded twisted pair cables for transmitter wiring and apply single-point grounding in cabinet. Avoid pulling force on terminals from cable routing.
Precautions for Use Disconnect field transmitter power before wiring. Do not over-tighten terminal screws. Inspect screw tightness periodically. Prevent metal debris falling into terminal assembly. Do not apply voltage exceeding rated value to terminals.
