Functional Features Screw terminals provide stable clamping force for field actuator cables. Integrated surge suppression components absorb transient voltage spikes generated by inductive load switching. Reserved test jacks allow technicians to measure output signal status without disconnecting instrument cables. Internal PCB traces realize one-to-one signal mapping between DO module channels and field terminals. Mechanical locking buckle achieves stable assembly between terminal base and digital output module.
Application Scenarios Ovation DCS cabinets for thermal power, chemical and water treatment industries. It supplies wiring connection for solenoid valves, relay coils, status indicator lamps and small contactors.
Performance Parameters Terminal clamping force maintains stable contact performance under long-term cabinet vibration. Surge suppression circuit rapidly absorbs transient overvoltage pulses. Internal traces keep low signal attenuation for 24VDC discrete signals. Terminals maintain stable electrical performance after repeated wiring operations.
Material Composition Housing uses flame-retardant PA engineering plastic. Internal circuit board adopts flame-retardant glass fiber epoxy PCB. Nickel-plated copper screw terminals. Integrated transient voltage suppression diodes and freewheeling diodes for inductive load protection. Contact pins use gold-plated copper alloy.
Structural Features Front assembly matched with Ovation digital output module. Multiple rows of screw wiring terminals arranged in order. Independent test jack beside each output channel. Mechanical locking buckle connects tightly with DO module. Rear contact pins mate with front connector of digital output card.
Working Principle 24VDC discrete control signals generated by DO module transmit to terminal base through contact pins. Signals pass through surge protection components and internal PCB traces, then reach field actuators connected to screw terminals. When inductive load cuts off and generates reverse overvoltage, protection components divert surge energy to protective ground. Test jacks directly access output loop for on-site signal measurement and loop debugging.
Installation Requirements Align terminal base connector with front connector of digital output module and fasten locking buckle. Strip wire insulation to specified length and tighten terminal screws with standard torque. Use shielded twisted pair cables for field actuator wiring and apply single-point grounding inside cabinet. Avoid applying pulling force to terminals from cable routing.
Precautions for Use Cut off field actuator power before wiring. Do not over-tighten terminal screws. Inspect screw tightness periodically. Prevent metal debris from falling into terminal assembly. Do not apply voltage exceeding rated value to terminals.
