Working Principle Power signals from rack power supply transmit to sampling circuit of this module via rack backplane. Sampling circuit converts voltage and current signals into digital values. Onboard processor compares measured parameters with preset threshold values. When parameter exceeds safe range, relay contact switches state and fault information uploads to Ovation controller through backplane bus.
Installation Requirements Insert module along rack guide rail into designated controller rack slot and lock mechanical latch. Connect external alarm wiring to relay terminals on front panel. Use shielded cables for external alarm signal wiring. Keep ventilation path of rack unblocked. Set alarm threshold parameters in DCS engineering station after installation.
Precautions for Use Cut off rack power before module replacement. Backup threshold configuration parameters before parameter modification. Do not touch gold-plated backplane connector directly. Inspect relay contact condition during regular maintenance. Do not disassemble module housing.
