Working Principle: Module receives power from rack backplane. It exchanges data with control processor through rack internal bus. It converts internal bus data into Ethernet frames and sends to upper network. It receives configuration, monitoring and operation commands from network nodes and forwards to control processor. Isolation circuit blocks surge and noise from external network to protect internal control hardware.
Installation Requirements: Insert module to designated communication slot of Ovation rack and fully lock side latches. Use shielded twisted pair industrial Ethernet cable. Keep network cables away from high voltage and frequency converter power cables. Power off rack before installation or removal of module.
Precautions for Use: Do not bend Ethernet cable sharply near connector. Wear anti-static wristband during maintenance. Keep ventilation slots free of dust. Avoid corrosive gas and conductive dust environment. Replace module when persistent network link failure occurs.
