Description
Emerson DST1405P
Technical Specifications: Nominal supply voltage: 24 VDC Isolation voltage rating: 1500 VAC between field side and control logic side Operating temperature range: 0 ℃ to 60 ℃ Storage temperature range: -40 ℃ to 85 ℃ Relative humidity: 5% to 95% non-condensing Compliant standards: IEC 61010, ANSI/ISA-71.04
Functional Features: Screw type terminals for field analog cable termination. Independent surge suppression components for each signal channel. Low-pass EMI filter eliminates high-frequency noise. LED power status indicator displays working state. Reserved test jacks for on-site signal measurement. Mechanical anti-mismatch buckle prevents wrong I/O card installation. Supports hot swap of matched Ovation analog I/O cards.
Application Scenarios: Pressure and temperature transmitter signal wiring for thermal power plant, petrochemical process analog signal collection, flow transmitter wiring, pulp and paper mill analog instrument connection, water treatment plant 4-20mA transmitter signal terminal.
Performance Parameters: Terminal contact resistance less than 10 milliohm Signal bandwidth: DC to 10 kHz Vibration withstand: 10 Hz to 150 Hz, 0.5 g Shock withstand: 10 g peak acceleration, 11 ms duration MTBF value: 210000 hours
Material Composition: Main housing uses UL94-V0 flame-retardant thermoplastic material. Terminal screws are nickel-plated brass. Internal printed circuit board uses FR-4 glass fiber epoxy substrate. Surge protection components are encapsulated by epoxy resin. DIN rail spring clips are stainless steel.
Structural Features: 35 mm DIN rail snap mounting structure. Front panel arranged with screw terminals and channel marking printing. Upper card slot reserved for analog I/O card plugging. Anti-reverse insertion positioning structure prevents mismatched card installation. Ventilation grooves on housing for passive heat dissipation. Dust-proof edge reduces dust deposit on terminals.
Working Principle: Field analog transmitters connect to front screw terminals. Terminal base supplies 24 VDC loop power to two-wire transmitters. Analog signal passes through filter circuit and surge protection circuit, then enters matched analog I/O card. The I/O card converts analog signal into digital value and uploads data to Ovation controller.
Installation Requirements: Mount on standard 35 mm DIN rail inside control cabinet. Reserve 25 mm vertical clearance above and below module for heat dissipation. Field analog wiring uses shielded twisted pair cable with single point shield grounding in cabinet. Tighten terminal screw torque between 0.6 N·m and 0.8 N·m. Cut off power before wiring operation. Separate signal cables and high voltage power cables.
Precautions for Use: Do not short circuit signal terminals. Wear anti-static wristband during maintenance. Inspect terminal screw tightness periodically. Do not install in environment with conductive dust and corrosive vapor. Stop using terminal base if shell cracks or burn traces appear.
