Material Composition Flame retardant plastic outer housing. Safety grade electronic components meeting functional safety standard. Photoelectric isolation components for each channel. Gold plated backplane connector pins with anti-oxidation treatment. Terminal blocks use corrosion resistant copper alloy.
Structural Characteristics Standard plug-in card structure for DeltaV SIS cabinet slots. Front panel has field safety loop wiring terminals and channel status LED lamps. Mechanical anti-loosen locking buckle. Internal circuit layout provides channel to channel electrical isolation.
Working Principle Field safety switch signal enters the module through front terminal block. Signal conditioning and isolation circuit process the digital signal. The module executes continuous fault diagnosis to judge wire break or short circuit of field loop. Valid digital safety signal is transmitted to SIS controller through internal safety bus. Module runs periodic self-test to detect internal hardware fault and upload diagnostic alarm message once fault is found.
Installation Requirements Install inside dedicated DeltaV SIS safety cabinet. Safety signal cables must be separated from non-safety control cables. Cable shielding layer adopts single point grounding method. All wiring work must follow DeltaV SIS official installation manual strictly.
Use Precautions Only certified functional safety technicians can perform wiring, commissioning and maintenance work. Safety signal cables cannot be laid together with high voltage power cables. Complete full loop function test during system commissioning. Replace the module immediately when persistent diagnostic faults occur.
