Working Principle: The module receives 24 VDC working power. It communicates with Ovation main controller through remote bus. It collects field analog and discrete signals from connected instruments, carries out signal conditioning and uploads data to DCS rack. It receives control commands from main controller and outputs to field actuators. Isolation circuit prevents field surge and noise from entering main control rack.
Installation Requirements: Mount module on standard 35 mm DIN rail inside remote field cabinet. Reserve clearance around module for heat dissipation. Use shielded cable for remote bus wiring. Separate signal cables and high voltage power cables. Cut off power supply before wiring or module replacement.
Precautions for Use: Do not connect high voltage signal to signal terminals. Wear anti-static wristband during maintenance. Regularly check terminal screw tightness. Keep ventilation slots free of dust. Avoid installation in environment with corrosive gas or oil mist.
