Working Principle Backplane power enters KJ2231X1-EB1 module through rear gold-plated connector. High-precision sampling circuit continuously measures backplane voltage and current value. Collected power data transmits to DeltaV controller through dedicated communication circuit. When power parameter exceeds preset safe threshold, module generates fault signal and uploads alarm message to DCS operator station.
Installation Requirements Cut off rack power supply before module installation. Insert module along rack guide rail into designated slot and lock mechanical latch. Confirm full engagement between module connector and rack backplane. Keep rack ventilation path unobstructed. Configure power monitoring parameters in DeltaV engineering workstation after hardware installation.
Precautions for Use Take anti-static protection when handling module. Do not touch gold-plated connector pins directly by bare hands. Inspect connector contact state regularly. Do not apply overvoltage to module power terminals. Do not disassemble module housing.
