Working Principle: Field analog instrument cables connect to screw terminals of KJ3223X1-BA1. Surge protection components absorb transient overvoltage and surge noise from field wiring. Process analog signals transmit through internal circuit to front analog input module. The terminal block isolates field wiring and I/O card circuit, so field cable maintenance operation will not directly touch main I/O card.
Installation Requirements: Install KJ3223X1-BA1 on the rear side of DeltaV I/O rack, align with corresponding front analog input module. Use shielded twisted pair cable for field instrument wiring. Tighten terminal screws to specified torque value. Separate analog signal cables and high voltage power cables. Ensure rack protective earth connection is completed.
Usage Notes: Check terminal screw tightness periodically under high vibration environment. Do not connect high voltage signal to analog signal terminals. Inspect surge protection components regularly during maintenance. Disconnect field cable before removing terminal block.
