Description
Emerson KJ4003X1‑BD1
Technical Specifications: Input voltage 85VAC to 264VAC, 47Hz to 63Hz. Rated DC output 24VDC, maximum output current 12A. Dielectric withstand voltage 2500VAC. Operating temperature range ‑40°C to +70°C. Storage temperature ‑40°C to +85°C.
Functional Features: Support redundant parallel operation, two modules can work together to realize power redundancy. Hot‑swap capability, replacement without system shutdown. Real‑time diagnostic function, upload power supply health information to DeltaV workstation. Multi‑stage protection mechanism including overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature and short‑circuit protection. Front panel LED indicators show power on, fault and alarm status separately.
Application Scenarios: Refinery control systems, chemical synthesis workshops, thermal power plant DCS cabinets, oil & gas pipeline control stations, food and beverage continuous production lines, mining automatic control systems.
Performance Parameters: Power conversion efficiency ≥91%. Output voltage ripple less than 50mV. Overtemperature protection trigger point at 110°C. MTBF reaches 520000 hours under rated operating conditions.
Material Composition: Circuit board uses FR‑4 grade flame retardant PCB. Housing is made of UL94‑V0 ABS plastic. Internal components include high‑frequency transformer, power MOSFET, solid‑state capacitors and signal isolation optocouplers. Backplane contact pins use gold‑plated copper alloy to guarantee stable connection.
Structural Features: Standard rack plug‑in structure matching DeltaV I/O backplane. Built‑in aluminum alloy heat sink for heat dissipation. Front panel equipped with status LED and locking mechanism. Internal layout separates high voltage input area and low voltage output area for electrical isolation.
Working Principle: AC input passes through EMI filter, rectifier bridge and high frequency switching circuit to convert into stable 24V DC. The built‑in monitoring chip continuously samples output current, voltage and internal temperature. When parameters exceed threshold, protection circuit trips and sends fault alarm to DCS controller. Redundant mode realizes automatic load sharing between two power supplies.
Installation Requirements: Mount on DeltaV standard I/O rack. Reserve enough ventilation space around the module. Ensure cabinet ground connection is reliable. Do not install in vertical or upside‑down orientation. Torque of front panel locking screw should be controlled within the factory specified range.
Usage Notes: Do not use this module outside the designated DeltaV rack. Prevent liquid ingress into the module. Regularly check the cabinet air filter to avoid dust accumulation affecting heat dissipation. Do not connect non‑DeltaV loads directly to the output terminals. Any maintenance must comply with hazardous area operation standards when applied in explosion‑proof zones.
