Material Composition: Probe housing: 316L stainless steel. Probe sensing head: high temperature resistant ceramic material. Cable outer sheath: fluoropolymer. Internal conductor: silver-plated copper wire. Connector shell: stainless steel.
Structural Features: Cylindrical probe structure with external mounting thread. Integral extension cable connected to probe. Stainless steel locking nut for probe position fixing. Shielded cable structure to reduce external electromagnetic interference. Standard connector for connection with signal converter.
Working Principle: The probe head generates high-frequency alternating magnetic field. When the magnetic field approaches metal rotating shaft, eddy current forms on metal surface. The eddy current changes the impedance of probe coil. The matched converter detects impedance variation and converts the variation into analog voltage signal. The signal value corresponds to the distance between probe and metal shaft surface.
Installation Requirements: Install probe on designated threaded mounting hole of bearing housing. Adjust probe gap to set target value before locking the nut. Fix cable with cable clamp to avoid pulling force on probe connector. Keep cable away from high-power AC power cables. Complete static gap calibration after installation.
Precautions for Use: Avoid collision and scratch on probe ceramic sensing head. Do not bend cable with small bending radius. Prevent high temperature steam and corrosive medium from directly impacting probe. Regularly check cable aging and connector tightness during equipment overhaul. Do not use the sensor on non-ferromagnetic metal materials without calibration.
