Emerson SE6501T01

Product Introduction: The SE6501T01 is a relay output terminal block for Emerson DeltaV S Series distributed control system. It matches DeltaV S series relay output electronic module. It provides dry contact relay output terminals for field actuators, solenoid valves and alarm devices. It isolates control side and field load circuit through relay contacts. It integrates surge absorption components to suppress back electromotive force from inductive loads. It supports hot swap of the upper electronic I/O module.

Description

Emerson SE6501T01

Technical Specifications: Control side power: 24 VDC Relay contact rating: 250 VAC, 5 A per channel Isolation voltage: 1500 VAC between control and field load side Operating temperature: 0 ℃ to 60 ℃ Storage temperature: -40 ℃ to 85 ℃ Relative humidity: 5% to 95% non-condensing Mounting: 35 mm DIN rail mounting Protection grade: IP20

Functional Features: Multi-channel relay dry contact output. Built-in surge absorption circuit for inductive load. LED indicators show relay on-off status. Supports hot swap of matched I/O electronic module. Screw terminals for field load wiring. Electronic ID chip for automatic DeltaV system recognition. Contact state diagnostic function for relay channel.

Application Scenarios: Chemical plant valve solenoid drive, power plant auxiliary equipment interlock control, fire and gas alarm output cabinet, water treatment pump start-stop control, packaging machine actuator control, refinery safety interlock output system.

Performance Parameters: Relay mechanical life: 10,000,000 operations Vibration resistance: 10 Hz to 150 Hz, 0.5 g Shock resistance: 10 g peak acceleration, 11 ms duration MTBF value: 204000 hours

Material Composition: Housing uses UL94-V0 flame-retardant thermoplastic. Main PCB uses FR-4 glass fiber epoxy substrate. Terminal contact pieces are nickel-plated brass. Relay internal contact uses silver alloy. Backplane connector pins use gold-plated copper alloy. DIN rail clip is stainless steel.

Structural Features: DIN rail snap mounting structure. Front panel has load screw terminals and relay status LED indicators. Top locking buckle fixes relay I/O electronic module. Rear multi-pin gold-plated connector connects backplane bus. Relay components are arranged in independent isolation zones. Vent grooves on shell for passive heat dissipation.

Working Principle: DeltaV I/O module sends control signal through backplane connector. The signal drives internal relay coil. Relay contact closes or opens to switch field load circuit. Surge absorption circuit eliminates back EMF generated when inductive load cuts off. The diagnostic circuit monitors relay contact working state continuously.

Installation Requirements: Mount terminal block on standard 35 mm DIN rail inside control cabinet. Separate high-power load wiring and low-voltage control signal wiring. Tighten load terminals with specified torque. Cut off field load power before wiring modification. Reserve enough space for relay heat dissipation.

Precautions for Use: Do not exceed rated voltage and current of relay contacts. Wear anti-static wristband when replacing I/O module. Check terminal tightness and contact aging regularly. Do not install in environment with corrosive gas. Replace module immediately if relay contact has ablation trace.
