Technical Specifications Microprocessor-based burner sequencing controller; compatible with UV or infrared flame detectors; 120V AC or 230V AC line power input; relay outputs for fuel valve, ignition transformer and blower control; configurable purge time, ignition trial time and flame failure response time; operating ambient temperature -40°C to +75°C; IP20 enclosure rating; LED status indicators for each sequence state.

Functional Features Execute programmed burner startup sequence including pre-purge of the combustion chamber to remove residual combustible gas. Energize ignition transformer and open fuel valves during the ignition trial period. Continuously monitor flame signal from the flame detector after successful ignition. De-energize fuel valve relays and trigger safety shutdown when flame signal disappears unexpectedly. Record lockout fault codes for troubleshooting. Support local reset after safety shutdown and remote reset via external contact input. Run power-up self-test of internal circuits and output relays.

Application Scenarios Industrial hot water boilers, steam boiler combustion control, process heater burner management, thermal oil furnace safety sequencing, waste heat recovery burner systems.

Performance Parameters Fixed flame failure response time conforming to combustion safety standards; reliable sequence state transition; stable flame signal discrimination under furnace background radiation; fast safety shutdown action upon flame loss.

Material Composition Main PCB uses FR-4 flame-retardant multilayer substrate; microprocessor and signal conditioning chips are industrial semiconductors; output relays use silver alloy contact points; enclosure is flame-retardant thermoplastic; screw terminal blocks adopt nickel-plated copper contacts.

Structural Characteristics Compact DIN rail mount housing. Front panel includes status LEDs, reset button and fault code display window. Top and bottom terminal blocks separate line power, flame detector, ignition and fuel load wiring. Internal circuit isolates high-power relay circuits and low-voltage flame signal circuits.

Working Principle After receiving burner start permission from external control contact, the module initiates pre-purge timing and activates the combustion air blower. When pre-purge timing completes, the module activates the ignition transformer and opens fuel valves within the ignition trial window. The flame detection circuit evaluates flame detector signal amplitude. If valid flame signal is maintained, the controller transfers to run state. If flame signal drops below threshold, the controller immediately de-energizes fuel valve outputs and locks out the burner sequence.

Installation Requirements Mount the unit on standard DIN rail inside the burner control cabinet. Wire line power, blower contactor, ignition transformer, fuel safety shutoff valves and flame detector to corresponding terminals. Configure timing parameters according to burner specification and local combustion safety codes. Perform pre-purge, ignition and flame loss shutdown functional test after wiring completion.

Precautions for Use Do not bypass safety lockout circuits for temporary operation. Route low-current flame detector cable separately from ignition high-voltage wiring. Verify flame detector sighting path free from soot and obstruction periodically. Reset the lockout only after identifying and eliminating root fault causes.
