HIMA F7133

Product Introduction The F7133 is power distribution module for HIMA HIQuad safety control rack. It distributes power from rack power supply module to each CPU and I/O module slot inside the rack. It integrates individual channel fuses and power monitoring circuit for each slot, provides overcurrent protection for each module power branch, and reports branch power fault to power monitoring module F7131. It guarantees isolated power supply for each safety module in the rack.

  • Boiler burner management safety rack power distribution
  • Offshore platform safety instrumented system rack power distribution
  • Power plant safety interlock cabinet power distribution

Material Composition

  • Front panel: Reinforced metal front panel with LED indicators
  • Main PCB: FR4 high reliability printed circuit board with conformal coating
  • Protection components: High breaking capacity fuses for each power branch
  • Sampling components: Precision current sampling resistors
  • Backplane connector: Gold-plated copper contact pins
  • Housing: Metal shielding frame

Structural Characteristics

  • Standard subrack width module for HIQuad rack slot installation.
  • Metal front panel fitted with LED fault indicators for each power branch.
  • Rear gold-plated edge connector connects to rack backplane.
  • Internal power traces distribute power to each slot connector on backplane.
  • Each power branch has independent fuse and current sampling circuit.
  • Metal shielding frame reduces electromagnetic interference.

Working Principle Main DC power from power supply module enters F7133 module. The module divides main power into multiple independent power branches for each rack slot. Each branch passes through dedicated fuse for overcurrent protection. Current sampling circuit monitors each branch current continuously. When fuse blows or branch power loss occurs, fault signal is sent to F7131 monitoring module and corresponding LED indicator activates. Single branch fault is isolated by fuse and will not interrupt power supply of other slots.

Installation Requirements

  • Insert F7133 module into designated slot of HIQuad rack.
  • Verify backplane connector contact reliability.
  • Complete protective earth connection for module metal frame.
  • Use specified fuse rating for each power branch.
  • Perform branch power loss simulation test after installation.
  • Verify communication link with F7131 module before rack commissioning.

Usage Notes

  • Do not hot plug module when rack power remains active.
  • Replace blown fuse only with fuse of same rated specification.
  • Do not use fuse with higher current rating than original specification.
  • Keep cabinet dry and free of corrosive gas and conductive dust.
  • Check backplane connector tightness periodically under vibration environment.
  • Do not modify internal power distribution circuit components.
  • Replace module immediately when permanent hardware fault occurs.
