Functional Features Provide physical signal tap for LCN coaxial trunk line; Isolate node internal circuit from backbone cable to restrict fault spreading; Suppress lightning surge and voltage spike on coaxial cable; Monitor LCN signal strength continuously; Report cable damage and abnormal signal attenuation to system; Maintain characteristic impedance matching of LCN coaxial network.
Application Scenarios Refinery, chemical plant and thermal power TDC3000 control room; Every LCN node connection point; Central monitoring network of large continuous production units.
Performance Parameters Operating temperature 0℃ to 60℃; Humidity 5% to 95%, non-condensing; Stable impedance matching performance; Surge withstand capability meets industrial control requirement.
Material Composition FR-4 printed circuit board; High precision coaxial metal connectors; Surge absorption components; Signal matching resistors; Flame retardant plastic housing.
Structural Features Compact rack mount module; Front panel equipped with LCN signal status LED indicator; Coaxial input and output ports on housing; Rack fixing buckle; Anti-reverse positioning structure; Model marking printed on housing surface.
Working Principle The module taps signal from LCN coaxial backbone cable and transmits signal to connected LCN node equipment. Built-in impedance matching circuit maintains the transmission characteristic of coaxial cable. Surge protection components absorb high voltage spike induced on cable. Signal monitoring circuit samples real-time signal amplitude and judges cable break or excessive attenuation, then sends fault alarm to the connected LCN node.
Installation Requirements Install the module at each LCN node connection point; Fasten coaxial connectors tightly with proper torque; Connect module protective ground wire to cabinet ground bar; Separate LCN coaxial cable from high-voltage power cable; Check network signal quality after installation.
Precautions for Use Do not install extra tap modules beyond node quantity design; Do not connect high voltage signal to coaxial ports; Inspect coaxial connectors for aging and corrosion periodically; Replace module when signal attenuation alarm triggers.
