HONEYWELL 51305980-836

Product Introduction: This analog input submodule belongs to Honeywell TDC3000 DCS I/O rack hardware. It receives 4-20mA analog signals from field transmitters including pressure, flow, liquid level and temperature transmitters. It converts analog process signals into digital values and transmits data to controller via I/O link bus. It supports loop break detection and channel isolation function to reduce cross interference between different measurement loops.

Technical Specifications Backplane bus power supply; Multi-channel 4-20mA analog input; High precision analog to digital conversion circuit; Channel isolation circuit; Loop break detection function; Rack plug-in design compatible with TDC3000 I/O rack.

Functional Features Acquire 4-20mA process signal from field transmitters; Detect open loop fault of transmitter circuit; Isolate each channel to avoid cross interference between measurement loops; Hardware signal conditioning for weak field signal; Upload process value and channel fault information to controller; Hardware self-diagnosis for card internal circuit.

Application Scenarios Chemical, power plant and refinery TDC3000 DCS cabinet; Process variable collection of pressure, flow, liquid level and temperature transmitters; Continuous monitoring of process parameters for production units.

Performance Parameters Operating temperature range 0℃ to 60℃; Relative humidity 5% to 95%, non-condensing; High signal conversion accuracy; Channel isolation voltage meets industrial control standard; Comply with industrial EMC standard.

Material Composition FR-4 multilayer printed circuit board; Gold-plated backplane connector; High precision AD conversion chip; Signal conditioning components; Surge protection elements; Anti-static plastic panel.

Structural Features Rack plug-in card; Front panel with channel status LED indicators; Rear gold fingers connect rack backplane bus; Anti-reverse positioning notch; Model and revision 836 printed on card surface.

Working Principle 4-20mA analog signal from field transmitter enters the submodule via terminal base. Signal conditioning and isolation circuit process the analog signal. AD converter converts analog current signal into digital process value. Digital data is transmitted to controller through rack backplane bus. The module detects loop current to judge wire break fault and send alarm message to control system.

Installation Requirements Wear anti-static wrist strap during installation; Insert fully into rack slot and tighten fixing screw; Cabinet protective grounding is reliable; Analog signal cable shield uses single point grounding; Confirm hardware version matches system firmware.

Precautions for Use Do not plug or unplug card under power-on state; High voltage signal cannot be connected to analog input terminal; Analog signal cable must be separated from high power cable; Check field transmitter and external wiring when channel abnormal alarm occurs.
