It carries out real-time health evaluation for each I/O card and predicts degradation trend of hardware components. It stores complete channel calibration data and configuration parameters. It supports automatic backup and recovery of rack configuration. It provides redundant UCN link switching with zero control interruption.
Application Scenarios High-speed control loop I/O rack management for chemical reactors and cracking furnaces. Fast interlock signal acquisition and output for emergency shutdown systems. Upgrade and replacement of low-speed IOP modules in high-demand control cabinets. Remote RIO rack management for high-speed pulse flow measurement and rotating equipment speed monitoring.
Performance Parameters Minimum Data Refresh Cycle: 10ms Frame Forwarding Latency: ≤40μs Fault Log Storage Capacity: 8000 event records Non-volatile data retention time: 10 years
Material Composition PCB Substrate: High-TG FR-4 multi-layer glass fiber board with low noise analog-digital partition layout High-performance 32-bit main control processor Large-capacity flash memory chip High-speed differential transceiver chip Gold-plated back edge fingers Cold-rolled steel front panel with electrostatic spray coating
Structural Features Standard European pluggable card, mechanically compatible with all previous revision IOP modules. Front panel is equipped with run indicator light, fault indicator light, A link indicator light and B link indicator light. Gold-plated edge fingers connect to the rack internal backplane bus. High-speed logic circuit area is covered by independent shielding layer to reduce digital noise crosstalk. Heat dissipation structure is optimized to reduce temperature rise under full-load operation.
Working Principle The module receives high-speed control commands and configuration parameters from the HPM controller through UCN bus. It distributes parameters to each I/O card on the rack via backplane bus. It collects high-frequency sampling data, channel status and fault information from all I/O cards, packages data and transmits data back to the HPM controller. It continuously evaluates the working state of each channel and records all abnormal events with high-precision time stamp. It automatically switches communication path when the active UCN link fails.
Installation Requirements Insert the module vertically into the dedicated IOP slot of UCN rack and tighten fixing screws. Connect redundant UCN A/B coaxial cables to the corresponding BNC ports. Download the rack configuration from Control Builder software after power on. Verify data refresh speed and fault reporting function on the HPM diagnostic interface. Confirm the compatibility of firmware version with HPM controller and all I/O cards on the rack.
Precautions Release static electricity before plugging the module to protect high-speed processor chip. This module can replace older revision IOP modules directly, but firmware version matching is mandatory. Do not cut off the power supply of the rack when downloading configuration, which will cause parameter loss. Regularly clean the rack air filter to maintain effective heat dissipation. High voltage pulse interference on the backplane bus will cause processor crash.
