Material Composition Flame retardant ABS plastic housing FR4 low noise PCB 32-bit ARM microcontroller Ethernet isolation transformer Triac output drive components TVS surge protection components DIN rail elastic lock clip LED communication and status indicators
Structural Features Compact rectangular DIN rail housing. Top terminal block for field sensor and actuator wiring. Bottom Ethernet communication port. Front panel with status LED indicators and local override buttons. Internal circuit isolated from wiring compartment. DIN rail lock clip for quick installation.
Working Principle The controller collects temperature, humidity, pressure and switch status from field sensors via built-in input channels. The microcontroller executes PID control logic and sequence program according to configured schedule and setpoint. It outputs analog or digital signal to control valve, damper and fan actuator. It exchanges real-time data, alarm and trend information with BACnet workstation and other BACnet controllers via Ethernet or MS/TP bus.
Installation Requirements Mount controller on standard 35mm DIN rail inside HVAC control cabinet. Supply 24VAC power to power terminal. Connect field sensor and actuator wiring to corresponding I/O terminals. Connect Ethernet cable to BACnet IP network. Configure BACnet device ID, IP address and control logic in Alerton VisualLogic software. Test each input and output point after commissioning.
Usage Notes Do not connect high voltage AC directly to input terminals. The controller must be installed in dry indoor cabinet. Lightning surge protection must be added for outdoor sensor wiring. Keep Ethernet cable separated from 24VAC power wiring. Backup configuration file before firmware upgrade.
